I have lived in many apartments but none more than a year due to bad management, bad maintenance, dangerous situations, etc. I moved in here in March 2008 and just love it. Becky, the manager, goes out of her way to make sure things are taken care of - not saying the place is perfect - when I first moved in the maintenance people were using my toilet and not flushing (yuk!), did some painting in my bedroom that no only did not cover the spot in the ceiling but they stood on my bed and didn't use a sheet to cover my 650.00 Amish quilt and got paint spatters. I complained and Becky had it fixed and paid for dry cleaning for my quilt. When the toilet thing happened again, I believe they fired him because it has never happened since then. My apartment is 1 bedroom and is huge - at least big enough for me and all my furniture. I love the way the patio is built and there is enough nature around for a city apartment to fulfill my needs. The last place I lived promised me (I was moving from Maryland) that I would have a view of lots of trees - I got two parking lots. Everytime I call about an issue, they get it taken care of. If I need a pacakge delivered inside, they do this for me since I work the same hours they are open - just have to fax a notice. All the staff are wonderful - I've never had a complaint about any of them. It's very quiet here. I can't hear anyone walking above me and I made sure before I moved here I would be placed in quiet area. After living other places where there were 12 people in a one bedroom and lots of noise and complaing to management and nothing being done - this is absolute heaven. I am hoping to be here for a long, long time because after all my fiascos with apartments - I have finally found a home. The parking is a bit bad - but generally, that is the people that can't park in one parking space.
