I lived and Kimball Square for almost two years with two roommates. The experience was not good, no security, bad lighting, bad neighborhood, but the rent was cheap while we went to school. After moving out I have been harassed repeatedly for false charges ranging from $150 to $438. Land lords only have 30 days from the time you move out to make any financial claims against you according to Texas State Law, but almost two years later they are still coming up with new claims. Every time a new manager takes over, they go through old files and drum charges against former renters. They do not validate their claims, or even contact the renter, they just sell to collection agencies for a fraction of the claim, pocket the money, and the renter doesn't even hear about it until it is collections, or even worse, until it goes agianst their credit score. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AND ANY OTHER SUNGATE PROPERTY!
