I only lived here because it was close to my work. This place is in a terrible neighborhood. I barely felt safe walking 50 feet to the post office next door. There was a murder here a few years ago. several of my neighbors' cars were broken into. One was stolen. Their idea of security is having broken gates and a 70 year old security guard sitting in a chair in the garage. Also, 5 months after I moved out, they sent a collection agency after me for a bill about partial carpet replacement. Would have been nice if they had actually sent an invoice instead of just skipping to a collection agency. But looking back, this doesn't shock me at all. The lady at the collection agency said that Inwood is one of their best customers, probably because they fabricate false claims. When I called Inwood to discuss the matter, they yelled at me and hung up. The management is terrible. If they ever got off of their oversized rears to help someone after they signed a lease, I never saw it. One time my ceiling started to leak during a storm. It took 2 weeks before it was fixed, so I had a bucket sitting in my living room for that time. There were rats in the garage, and ants in all the apartments. If you like getting murdered, having your car stolen, getting ripped off while you live there and after you move out, then this is the perfect place for you.
