Grapevine, Texas: Great Place in a Great Place

Centered between the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, Grapevine is a town uniquely situated to allow residents and visitors to experience all that the area has to offer. Grapevine began life in the spot that General Sam Houston met the representatives of 10 Indian tribes and signed a landmark peace treaty. Named after the tart wild grapes that grow in the area, Grapevine grew up around Grape Vine Springs. Early on, the city was a hit, with the proximity to Dallas that gives the city a lot of its modern flavor.
