Grand Prairie is located directly between the cities of Dallas and Ft Worth. With a population of 145,000 people, it is a very populous area. The Grand Prairie Independent School District comprises 24 elementary schools, seven middle schools, two ninth grade centers and two high schools, in addition to several alternative schools.
