Dallas' Historic Neighborhoods
The city of Dallas offers an incredible diversity of historical areas and neighborhoods. From authentic loft apartments in West End to Tudors and other homes in Greenway Parks, there are historic housing options all around the city. West End- This is one of the city's prominent historic neighborhoods. West End offers a number of different benefits, including historic warehouses renovated to be loft apartments, studios or offices, a thriving nightlife and stores, clubs, cafés, boutiques and more all set into historic brick shops lining the neighborhoods streets.
Greenway Parks- One of the city's premiere neighborhoods for family living, Greenway Parks offers incredible family living centered around English style greenswards, or parks. These run between the houses and connect the neighborhood through common green park areas that offer a place to picnic, laugh and play for residents and their children.
Vickery Place- A historic residential neighborhood located near the heart of Dallas, Vickery Place offers convenient access to the Arts District, Greenville Avenue, Knox/Henderson and all the amenities that these areas offer. Vickery Place is a neighborhood filled with homes and apartments and the area is benefitting from the urban revitalization going on around them.
The Cedars- Located in the area known as South Dallas, the Cedars is an active arts area, with a thriving art scene containing galleries, local productions of plays and more. There are a number of different places to live in this area, but lofts and apartments are more dominant than traditional homes. The Cedars offers residents a thriving arts and nightlife scene, as well as access to other areas of the city.
Farmers Market District- This is an historic area of the city providing local farmers and craftspeople to sell their wares within a hometown market space. There are many housing options surrounding the area, but it is predominantly apartments. Located in the heart of the city, the Farmers Market District offers close by access to everything that Dallas has to offer, while providing an historic place to live and play.
Oak Lawn- One of the oldest neighborhoods in Dallas, Oak Lawn is also one of the most diverse and wealthiest within the city. Uptown Neighborhood - Considered to be one of the most upscale places to live in Dallas, many people love the various biking and jogging trails.
