When most people think of the city of Arlington, Texas, they think of one thing: The Dallas Cowboys! While Arlington is home to both the Dallas Cowboys and Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers, the city is also one of the most desirable places to call home in the entire country by providing quick access to neighboring Dallas and Fort Worth, as well as having great schools, entertainment and people!

The I-20 and the I-30 both run through the city, and then run directly into both Dallas to the east and Ft. Worth to the west, which makes the morning commute a snap. Arlington also has several universities and colleges which makes it popular with those seeking a higher education. The University of Texas has an Arlington campus that serves an undergraduate population of almost 20,000 and is always a hive of activity during the fall and spring. Tarrant County College has a campus in Arlington, as does Arlington Baptist College. The city of Arlington is divided up into three school districts, each of which are considered outstanding. The Kennedale, Mansfield and Arlington school districts combine to educate all of Arlington’s school age children. As far as high school sports go, Mansfield Summit high school and Martin high school are the regional powers. As anyone who has lived in Texas can tell you, high school football is quite the social event every fall, and Arlington is no exception.
